I’m off again to go camping to the lovely Pinecrest in the Sierra Mountains here in Northern California. It’s one of my favorite spots in the world, but I didn’t discover it until I was an adult. My dear brother kept at us to go camping there until we did and now it wouldn’t be summer without a trip there. Pinecrest is wonderful because it is old school. It is where families can relax and kids can be rascals. It has camping, hiking, a beach, boats (think rowing), snack bars with soft serves, fishing, outdoor movies and even my favorite latte stop ( The Serene Bean) right at the campsite. Most of all, it has breathtaking beauty!
Hope you are still enjoying summer in your own way. For me getting outside to places like the mountains is so mind clearing and inspiring. I just need to breath the pine scented air and I feel renewed! Do you have a place you go that makes you feel that way?
