Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans reading!
I am looking forward to the quality family time with my family today.
Some are coming from quite far and I’m so happy to be able to host today.
Thanks to my wonderful husband and boys we got most of the labor done yesterday.
Today it’s pretty simple.
I am looking forward to champagne and chatting and eating too much!
Here’s glimpse at the tables.
I really just bought a few flowers. I used succulents and vines and apples and all the little pumpkins still hanging around.
I especially liked the hydrangea leaves I found in my backyard!
They have turned a most gorgeous colors right now.
Ikea glasses worked for little vases. We have a combo of striped, linen and black napkins.
My 96 year old grandma is bringing me her silver flatware today and giving it to me.
She has kept very good care of it and I feel lucky to get to have it.
It would not be Thanksgiving without our turkey from Max’s Kentucky great-grandad.
It holds a place of honor!
A view of our other table which we used a white table covering…
I just want to say how thankful I am am to each and every one of you who pop by here and visit.
I am grateful for you comments, and notes, and just for your presence.
I wish each and every one of you a wonderful holiday wherever you are.
Thanks so much!
Kim
Don’t forget to pop back for my Black Friday post!
