My 3 Year Blogaversary

Yesterday was officially the blog’s 3 year birthday!

 I haven’t really marked it before because I usually forget. 

Life’s been so crazy lately with keeping up with kids, home and the usual stuff!

After three years, I finally got a real desk and chair.

This area is my girly universe in the male-dominated home I reside in.

 I am now feeling a lot more official. I’ve even got business cards. 

 (Though mostly never have them with me when people ask of course.)

This blog has truly been my salvation some days.  

Life can feel scattered at this age. I don’t know who I am half the time.

I feel fortunate to have something that is a little piece of me to spend time on. 

This is where I try to find the old Kim that sometimes gets buried in the dailiness of life.

 I also love using this blog as a platform for a very Northern California aesthetic.

 To me that means living more simply and greener, yet hopefully with a little flair.

 Travel is my other love and those are the most fun posts and photos for me. 

Lately, I’ve been inspired by examples of women at mid-life that embrace it all with grace and style, and I’d like to show more of them on this blog as well…

Hopefully you get me and we are of the same mind if you are here!

Connecting with you all from near and far, has been the coolest part about this journey.

 Your words and notes brighten my days and inspire me to keep up with this little blog.

 My fellow bloggers are a large part of this readership and I appreciate the feedback, conversations and bonds we have formed through this!! I love all you guys.

I promise more posts, fun, travels and good things in the coming months. I’m just getting warmed up here and am finally carving out some serious weekly time to devote to sharing what I love with you.
