Well, this post is timely because I have a little product that makes going to sleep and waking up pretty (or handsome) a lot more possible. It’s a wonderful creation called, Savvy Sleeper pillowcases.
Savvy Sleepers are the idea of one stylish and brilliant Northern California girl, Dale Janeé. Dale, grew up in the charming little Northern Cal town of Ukiah, and is now based in Switzerland, but her company operates out of San Francisco.

Dale from her travel post to Venice on her blog. |
Originally, we found each others blogs, both being native Nor California girls. I loved reading about her European travels. I knew she had a business and my friend Adrienne, of The Rich Life on a Budget, had featured Dale’s cases and also brought hers on our travels together.
Dale kindly offered to send me one to try after I said planned to purchase one, as Adrienne swore by hers. I choose the White Russian to go with my always white sheets. I loved the smooth feel when it first came out of the box. Right away my youngest son tried to steal it, it was so silky. Seriously? (One thing about kids, they can spot the luxury stuff right away.)
I slept wonderfully and my hair looked as smooth as when I went to bed. Especially nice if I had it blown out or just done. So nice not wake up with scary hair, (especially mornings when I am on high school carpool duty. :D) I also loved the little pocket Dale designed for your lip balm or hairband tucked inside the case.
However, what I’m most thrilled about is the difference it has made in my face. I don’t know about you, but I’m a side sleeper. Have always been and can’t change it. I’ve been slowly working a big wrinkle into the right side of my face, near my eye for the last few years. (Actually since kids.) I often sleep so hard, I don’t even move during the night. The genius part of her satin pillowcases is that it prevents you from crushing your face into the pillow.

My Savvy Sleeper on my bed. |
The first morning after using my case, I noticed almost immediately, my crease wasn’t there and my skin looked less irritated and red. I have used my Savvy Sleeper almost 2 months now and it’s making a big difference in my face and skin when I wake up.
With all the talk of wrinkles and botox in my last post, this is a huge help that’s natural! Everyone who has woken up with pillow marks needs to try Savvy Sleepers for themselves.
Any day I can wake up with prettier hair and face is good one.
Dale has generously offered a special 15% discount to Northern California Style readers now through March 28. Use the code ‘NorCal’ when checking out on Savvy Sleeper Site.
To see more about living in Switzerland and where Dale and her Italian husband (cute newlyweds), travel in Europe on their weekends, visit Dales’ fun blog, Savvy Spice. I also love to see her latest outfits. She’s a talented stylist and recently attended Paris Fashion Week.
Sweet dreams!
Kim
