Whole Food’s Beauty Week starts today –March 18-24. It’s a super time to stop into to your local and check out all the beauty products and learn about new ones. I am loyal to many of the wonderful products they sell including Weleda, Giovanni, Dr Hauschka, and many others. I think it’s terrific that Whole Foods has high standards for all their beauty products and does not allow animal testing as well as 50 questionable ingredients that are commonly used in the industry.
This Saturday for the first time ever, Whole Foods will be offering a special ‘Hello Beauty’ bag for $18 (a $60 value.) This very cute organic bag made by RIJIGreen, a inspiring company dedicated to ending human trafficking. The bags are made by survivors.
The bag includes:
Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub
Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream
Gabriel Mascara
Giovanni 2chic Blackberry & Coconut Milk Ultra-Repair Shampoo
Pacifica Eye Shadow Duo or Lipstick
I’m excited to try these products. Already I use some Derma E lotions, love Pacifica’s makeup and Trilogy is from New Zealand and is wonderful plant-based products.
Each bag may vary by store, and is only available while supplies last beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Also starting Friday March 20- 22, all facial care will be 25% off, a good time to stock up on your favorites.
We just had another fun Whole Food’s Beauty Night in February for bloggers at the Campbell Whole Body store which is one of my favorite places to get lost in. It’s huge!…Talk about a beauty treasure trove. We bloggers got to try out some healthy hair products..
Blogess of Fashion Should Be Fun, Dawn having her hair done.
We got to make our own healthy lip scrubs with coconut oil, essential oils and brown sugar! (They have the recipe card available at the store!)
Another local blogger friend, Rommellyn of The Stunning Post making her scrub.
We even got to drink collagen water with pretty straws! Who knew we could be doing something good for our faces at the same time we were getting hydrated?
What a fun night and I loved learning more about healthy ways to look good and companies that care about the earth and the people on it!
Read more about Whole Foods and why I feel good about buying their beauty products, and some of my favorites here.
