Galentine’s Treats

I just adore Valentine’s Day. When I see all the cute Valentine’s gift guides I think of my girlfriends and my niece who was born on Valentines day. I love the idea of Galentine’s day. Who, but your gal friends would appreciate all this pink and girlish goodness? I tell you Valentine’s is made for women and that’s as it should be. A little Valentines’s cocktail party is a fun idea too. Sometimes the best gatherings are those that are last minute and gosh it’s better not to fret about how perfect the details are, but rather enjoy the company of friends.  Here’s a few cute Valentines themed pretties that I couldn’t resist sharing. I may get myself one!

This Valentine’s Cupcake kit is a fun idea to do with your kids for a little Valentine’s Day gathering after school? They also could be pretty to serve with cocktails. ( I mean not for the kiddies.. I didn’t word that right!!)

This beauty mist is for hair and skin and smells divine. During dry days I love to have a mist for the face.

 Aussie Anna Spiro’s book is one of my favorites and will inspire anyone to live with beauty and color everyday.

All the Voluspa candles from Anthro are amazing. This new one is so pretty for a bath or bedside.

Home Baked is another gorgeous book By Yvette Van Boven filled with delicious recipes. I adore Yvette’s books and many of her recipes become family favorites.

On my someday list is a Vanessa Bruno canvas sequin tote. I always love how the French girls throw their baguettes and everything in these. They aren’t easy to find in the U.S., but I found it  and at the same price as in France, not counting exchange rates now. Love this for spring and travel!

The best gift is really is being with friends. I was lucky to get together with dear friends from high school this week. It’s always great to be with those girls again and I forget how much we all have in common. When I leave I am always feeling so happy I made the effort to be there. So make plans with a friend! That is the nicest present you can give is your time.
