On this weekend post, gingham and cottage core, pops of red, a new book on style, and the Dish hike and neighborhood walk to check out in Palo Alto.
It’s time to share what’s cool and new on the Weekend Meander with my pals Juliet and Elizabeth.
Well this has been a wet and windy week and I should have gotten more done, I did a little gardening when the sun was out, but Marlo and I did a bit of sitting by the fire too..

I added some ranunculus to the front pots for these cooler months…

What’s Your Thoughts on Denim Now?
Cindy and I have a post in a few weeks on denim for our Signature Style. As a Californian I live in denim, and I know a lot of you do too. I get more questions about what are the best jeans all the time. Straight and wider legs are definitely the modern look. I suppose if you are a skinny jean fan, you can keep on, but personally, I do not miss them! Are you a fan of the straight or fuller legs?

I do think it’s often tough to find the right rise on jeans and I have issues as I am short waisted and 5’4. Mid-rise are still my preference. My latest jeans are from L’Agence, Rails and KUT. I have a couple of high rise styles that I can tolerate for a small time, but couldn’t survive in them all day! Anyone else feel that way?
My question is are you all still wearing denim a lot and what sort of styles are appealing to you now? Are you looking for a wider leg that fits and flatters? I’d love your feedback for this upcoming post. If you have brands you like, I will investigate. I am checking out what is in stores this week and next and will share and save on my Instagram highlights under Jean Stories.
Gingham and Block Prints
Gingham is everywhere and is part of the cottage core look of block prints and bric-a-brac edging. I do love this pretty trend, and have been adding little bits in the home here and there.
I think you can use elements of this look and work it into what you have. I saw these gingham pillows with ruffled edging a few weeks ago at Homegoods and grabbed them. ( I know I’m working on my pillow addiction!) I was instantly attracted to the tan gingham and the nice quality. They replaced the winter pillows and tartan throw I had on my bed. ( Yes still working on my bedroom refresh.)

Right nearby was this cute block print throw in earthy green tones and the two pieces just looked good together. They brighten up the bedroom and made me happy. I added this block print pillow I had bought last year.

I think the pillows could also work on my family room sectional as I have tans and black, so I bought them with the hope they can be used in a few spots. The throw could be cute on the kitchen table asymmetrical with a pot of geraniums for a spring feel..
I wasn’t able to find these on their website, so check out your local Homegoods or Tj Maxx. If you can’t find these pieces in your stores, I found a few cute gingham and similar looks online..
On My Radar…Valentine’s Edition

I just saw this new Kate Spade book. I love the books they put out always inspiring and this has some great ideas for dressing and mixing things up, which is what I need about this time of year.
I’ve been looking for the perfect French girl red ballet flat and just ordered this J. Crew cutie and am awaiting arrival. It’s more than I thought I’d spend, but this shoe has the perfect color, cut not too high or low, and has an updated look with the square toe.

This pic by Instagrammer Sarriette et Ciboulette, ( don’t you love the jean? ), confirmed I need a pair. I love how the French use red for that pop with their neutrals. I also like this chic red ballet at a great price and this great classic ballet… More red ballet options here.
If you’re looking to add that pop of red to your the wardrobe, I also love this mock neck at Anthro with pink tipping on the sleeve and hem, and this cute scalloped sweatshirt at Bloomies.

The Dish Trail- and The Lou Henry Hoover House
Last weekend we met our oldest son Jackson who lives in San Mateo for the Dish Loop Hike at Stanford University’s open space area that houses its giant dish. I love to grab lunch at Cafe Barone in Menlo Park after as it’s nearby and a good excuse to go to Kepler’s Books next to it. Actually all of downtown Menlo Park is wonderful with many spots to eat and shop.

Anyway, this is a beautiful hike and we happened to get a perfect day. This is such a California hike with a rolling hills and picturesque old oak trees. The hike has some climbs and it goes nearly four miles. FYI: there is one bathroom at the start and that is it.

We decided to abbreviate this walk and only do the lower part as I was having a muscle strain. To make it shorter you go up the first hill where it begins at Stanford Gate and then instead of continuing on, you turn right and it’s about a mile and a half. At this point you’re at Gerona Gate and you can walk right out towards Junipero Serra Blvd and walk over to the crosswalk to get to Campus Dr or carefully cross the road and go across the field.
This map below may help…

Either way you want to get on Gerona Rd and that pretty neighborhood leads you through some historic homes, many owned by the University. It winds back to Stanford Ave, where most people park to do the Dish Trail. If you look at this trail map above , you can see the one circular street, Mirada Road that has the Lou Henry Hoover House once owned and built by President Hoover and designed by his wife Lou.

When you see it, it’s ultra modern and hard to believe it was built in 1919. Both the Hoovers went to Stanford and met there in the 1890’s studying Geology. They later built this home right before the depression and she wanted it to be large, but look modest, so it was put on a hillside. It was built in ‘International’ Style and she was inspired by homes in Algeria. They lived all over the world with their geology work, he in the mining business, but were very attached to Stanford and the community and this was their only real home. He later donated it to Stanford for its use after Lou’s death, who now uses it to house the University’s president.
More about the home here . Lou was an activist and raised by parents who believed in women’s education and grew up in California, after being born in Iowa. She also spoke five languages and was the first female to graduate in Geology from Stanford. She was hugely involved in establishing The Girl Scouts, supported women’s rights and suffrage and also hosted the first black congressman’s wife to the White House.. She did much more and is a First Lady we know little of. More here on Lou.
If you missed it, on last weekend’s post – an historic San Francisco home that’s going to be the subject of the decorator’s showcase this spring, the de Young’s ‘Fashioning SF’ exhibit, winter white things to love, and a new show to check out..and a great walk to do in my town of Los Gatos.
Thanks to everyone for all the feedback, support, and kind notes last week regarding politics and getting more young people registered to vote. It meant the world and gave me hope! Love you guys.
Happy Weekend!

Jeans. I’m 5’6” and short waisted. I do like higher rises (Mother Hustler) but my Mother Weekender is my favorite fit as far as rise.
I’m on the hunt for a pair of light was straight.
Would love to see you do a try-on in different brands.
Your hike looked so pretty. I miss my hiking group from when we lived in NJ.
Melissa thank you! I am not familiar with the Weekender, is will check them out. I love straight legs in a light wash right now too.
Follow my Instagram if you don’t as I’ll post all my jean shopping this week and I’ll save it in the Stories highlight bubble!
Isn’t hiking great? Love doing them in winter too when it’s not hot!
Stumbled on these jeans from Amazon and since I wanted to try a wide-leg style but not spend a lot, ordered these and I LOVE them! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BKFGBHSY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I’m barely 5’4″ and also short-waisted but I love everything about these – the wash, the rise and the weight. Some reviews said they ran small so I ordered an 8 but exchanged them for a 6, my usual size.
I look forward to Cindy’s and your denim post!
Thanks Barb for sending! Will look at them as I am the same as you. I think the weight of the jean matters. Personally I love the lighter weight ones.
I hope our posts will be fun and helpful! x
Hi, Kim —
I think I just ordered the last pair of those red Nordstrom ballet flats (yes, that was me). I love the pop of color! Hope they fit! Hope yours do, too.
Thanks for the history on the Hoover house! I had never heard of Lou Hoover until now. Fascinating!
I have a pair of wide-leg cropped jeans from Gap that I find very comfortable, but I don’t wear them as often as others because of the crop. (My husband doesn’t get that look! Haha.) I’ve been considering getting a full length pair of wide legs. I am 5’7″ with a long torso so high rise works for me. I will be interested in what you find. Otherwise, I definitely prefer the loose straight fit and have parted with most of my skinny jeans. I don’t think I’ll be wearing those again any time soon, but kept a pair or two, just in case!
Oh so glad you got them! I’ll have to find more cute ones to link too. I hope you like them.
I know I looked up the house and went down a rabbit hole about Lou! Never knew a thing about her either. I think wide leg and long is great if you are tall and long waisted you can pull them off! If someone is petite, you need to find the right fit. I agree straight leg is easier all around to style and wear! I have a skinny-ish pair I kept to wear with tall boot.
I’m short waisted and find that mid rise jeans are the most comfortable. I like Kut and Wit and Wisdom which I buy from Nordstrom.
Same with me Laura. I have KUT, but will check out Wit & Wisdom!
I’m 5’6” and short waisted and love Mother Hustler and Paige (Claudine and Laurel Canyon Highrise). I live in the upper Midwest and need something longer than cropped denim for about half the year to keep my ankles and feet warm. Even though they have a higher rise, the Laurel Canyon style has been perfect for winter.
Laura, I am going to put those on my list. I think I have the Mother Hustler too. Totally hear you about needing the ankles covered in the winter! I need more of those.
I am 5’3″ and petite in stature. The wide leg trend just doesn’t feel flattering on me unless I have heels on. I love Mother Insider and Paige Cindy. Both tend to be mid to high rise on me. The Citizen’s of Humanity Isola and Emerson are both a great mid rise.
I usually buy denim that are frayed because then I can just trim the length without getting them hemmed! LOL. I buy denim at Anthropologie, Evereve and Nordstrom. I like the cropped flare and straight leg styles…cleaned out all my skinnies last year.
I also love those gingham pillows! Thanks for the Kate Spade book recommendation too!
Your neighbor in Southern California
Hi Susan! I so agree it’s very hard to find a wide leg that works when you’re petite. I just wrote down all these styles to investigate. I so love the raw hems for the same reason.
I think the book is fun. I am working my way through it now.. A lot of inspiring ideas.
Aw thanks. Great to hear from a So Cal gal. You all know your jeans !!
I also think wide-leg bottoms require more fitted and shorter (cropped?) tops to balance the fullness on the bottom.
Barb so true! You need to choose a more fitted top with those wider bottoms!
Good morning Kim!
I hope that the rain has let up, if not I hope that you and your adorable cat are snuggled by the fire reading, relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.
Jeans are my least favorite piece of clothing, I have a big butt and a small waist it is hard to find something that fits and it comfortable. Not to mention that I like “cigarette” crop length and that adds a whole other dimension of issues. If anyone else has the same issue please share your jeans I am all ears.
Red ballet flats are perfect for any time of the year. A classic pair of flats in any color looks beautiful. I need a new red pair! My neutral pair is an animal print and is super comfy.
Boden has a few pairs that look beautiful and comfortable. I’ve not purchased shoes from them but if someone is looking I recommend checking there.
Your hike looks beautiful! I love this time of the year to take long walks, it is not too cold, not too hot and there is always lots to see.
HAve a wonderful weekend Kim. I am off to check out your Valentine and on my radar links.
xo Elizabeth
Aw thanks Elizabeth. I was so glad we could be home all not out in this weather! You sound like you have a good figure for jeans! I feel like I have no butt and can never fill them.. Ha!
I think crops are tricky and they can work with the right ankle boot.
Boden is a good idea for shoes! I’ll check them out.
I hope you are having a good weekend too! xo
Always enjoy your posts Kim–so informative! I still like mid-rise jeans also because I’m also short waisted! I’m 5’4″ now that I’m 77 (haha) and feel like really wide leg jeans are just not for me. I like the carrot or lantern style and straight. I will never go back to bell bottom jeans but boot cut or gently flared, maybe. I’ve been interested in the MOTHER jeans but still haven’t tried them (they’re pretty expensive!). In truth I’m *still* searching for some great jeans. Stay dry and warm! I’m not sure when you’re coming home but–wow–you might get a mass of snow tomorrow in Tahoe, right?? Be safe and have lots of fun!
Sally, We are the same height and I have this short waisted problem too. I think the really wide looks great on the taller gals, but maybe if I found the perfect one. The Mother jeans are expensive! I have two pairs -and one I don’t love, so I am hoping I’ll have some insight when I go shop as to what is worth spending on. I have found other brands less expensive that I also like.
Thank you we got home Saturday night as the storm was coming and we didn’t want to take a chance! It’s nuts with this weather. I felt lucky to be home and safe.
I’m a huge fan of Mother jeans! Started with the Mother Tomcat and now have about three pairs of different styles and washes. My last pair I bought was the Scooter ankle. I love the straight leg fit and softness of Mother Denim. I’m 5’4″ and short waisted and I love how they fit me. Expensive, but since I wear denim every day I am willing to invest. I also seem to have good luck with AG denim. I have a few pair of Madewell, Rails and Everlane too. And I’ve had luck with Maeve at Anthropologie. I have a pair of Citizen’s of Humanity (black, fringe edge) super cute, but those are a pair that I can only wear for so long before they need to come off. Citizen’s just doesn’t fit me quite right. My husband would tell you I have way too many pairs of jeans, but really can you ever have too many? He and I disagree on this. :). I can’t wait to see what you find out.
Rhonda, I’m short too – and so your comments were super helpful. I’ll try the Mother brand. And my husband says the same thing, ha ha! You can just never have too many!
I love this!
Rhonda I have to check out the Tomcat. Thanks for your feedback and all these brands as a lot of us are short waisted and 5’4 I guess!
I have found the Rails cropped fit me as a full length jean. You sound very Californian with all your jean knowledge ! Love this. And I agree if you wear jeans most of the time you need options!
That looks like a gorgeous walk Kim and how lovely to see your son !!
We are cat sitting our daughter’s cat for two months so now we have three in the house all in heaven when my husband lights a wood fire!! Just watched a lovely Australian rom-com series called Colin from Accounts on Amazon/Paramount + highly recommend.
Happy weekend!
Thanks Francesca! Was nice to be able to meet up with him.
Oh how cute you have three little guys by the fire!
Colin From Accounts sounds interesting. Thank you for the recommendation!I’m just about done with a series so I need another!
Have a great week. xo
You have a lot of great places/trails to hike or walk at. We have many too in San Diego I walk every Monday at Mt. Helix near our home that has an amphitheater at the top. I do the stairs a little and the views are spectacular. My girlfriend and I used to meet occasionally at a lake nearby to walk until she moved an hour away a couple years ago. The walk is just over 6 miles round trip. There is only one regular bathroom at the parking lot and then two or three port-a-pottys on the route which I detest but during the Summer when you are drinking a lot of liquids what are you going to do? I just hold my breath lol.
I only have two pairs of skinny jeans which I saved to wear with my boots. Going through my closet before we move out. A few of my pricier jeans that no longer fit I decided to take to a Consignment store. I found some other items too that still have tags. 😐
I used to love Frame because of their longer lengths but now their inseams run too short on me. I have good luck with AG and Joe’s. Banana Republic used to fit me better but now the legs are always to loose in the wrong places so I gave up.
We are expecting more rain this week…all week. I’m sure you are too. More atmospheric rivers. Ugh.
Linda
Linda, I would love to do some hiking in SD! My son’s fiancee will be living there the next two years for her med school rotations so I hope to get to know San Diego better, it’s so lovely! Ha isn’t that the worst when you hydrate a bunch for a hike and then no bathroom options? That is my one beef with the Dish Hike! At least your hike has a few.
Good idea taking your nice jeans and things with tags to consignment.
AG jeans seem to be popular. I need to check them again. I once had a pair I really liked. Don’t you hate when you find a brand and they change? I just wonder why?
Well I hope you guys are stying safe down there. It’s pretty insane here 70 MPH winds and non stop torrential rain.
Take care and thanks for the jean feedback! xo
Will Kristin be doing her rotations at UCSD?
Linda I think so. She rotates between four or five hospitals near Scripps I think. I will find out.
I forgot about Scripps too. Great hiking trails at Torrey Pines in La Jolla! 😊
Oh I have heard! I am excited to get to know San Diego better when she is there.
Hi Kim,
I love wearing jeans too but hate the hunt for a pair! I’m short at 5’2 and long waisted. I find it difficult also as the numbering of jean sizes runs on a couple of different systems. I tried on what felt like hundreds of pairs in Macys the other day to no avail… gone are the days when I threw on any pair and they were flattering.
I finally found some KUT jeans at Nordstrom.. Katie Boyfriend.. relaxed straight and very comfortable so picked them up in a couple of different washes.
Enjoyed your informative blog post again! Stay warm in our chilly weather we are having recently.
Hi Fiona! You are so right. The sizing can be maddening! You really can’t know what to order unless you know a brand sometimes.
Ugh I totally feel you about going to a store and easily finding a pair. I haven’t had luck either and that’s why I thought I’d try to get to all the stores I could and report back.
KUT jeans really are nice, but they have so many different styles and don’t seem to repeat them, so I have a hard time finding the same fit. I’m looking for the Katie now! Thank you for this.
Hope you’re staying safe and cozy too!
I wear NYDJ Marilyn straight leg jeans. They make my legs look long and are very comfortable.
Shawn thank you! Putting them on the list to look for!
Great post Kim! I am 5’2’’ as well and recently went through all my jeans and donated all the jeans with stretch. I got so tired of pulling them up all day. I have replenished many with the tried and true Levi’s 501’s of my youth that don’t bag out. They are straight leg button fly which is not everyone’s cup of tea and the rise is high (which I like due to lumbar back fusion). I kept a few pairs of skinny NYDJ’s to wear with boots. Looking forward to your upcoming post with Cindy! Happy Saturday
Wendy good for you. I totally get this. I hav a Mother pair that are new that I am getting rid of because the stretch is so annoying and they won’t stay up. That is one thing I like about old school mostly cotton jeans. I will look for Levis and the NYDJ this week too! Thank you so much.
Hi Kim! I just purchased a pair of Mother Brand jeans. They are called the drawn fun dip nerdy from their Snacks collection! They are lower waisted with a draw string , very casual, so cute with a tee and flip flops! Love the jeans posted above with the red ballet flats as well. Happy weekend! Robin
Robin, That is so fun. Did not know about those! I like the sound of those with the drawstring! I’m going to investigate those jeans with the red shoes. Have a great week too.
Hi Kim, Loved this post!! Who knew about the Hoover home and hike!? Not me, obviously! lol. Will add it to my (ever growing) peninsula list.
Also, loving the pops of red trend. Hoping you’ll give a review of the shoes once you’ve had a chance to try them out!
Thanks Jenny! I know I had no clue about that house and Lou Hoover! I went down the rabbit hole and she’s pretty interesting.
I will report back on the shoes!
Hi Ms. Kim,
I think the pic of Marlo sitting on the throw in front of the fireplace is so peaceful. Marlo looks so content and happy, such a sweet peaceful setting.
I don’t have much to report on jeans since I have to wear elastic waste band with a draw string. I used to wear super cute form fitting jeans. Now I’m into old lady pants. I would love to find a pair like what I need that have some style. I like them on the baggy side and long so they can hide my sneakers. I found some lantern type style but not in jeans. I’m into high waste.
I loved seeing you and Jackson on The Dish Trail. Looks like the perfect distance and level to enjoy.
I will go back and read about the Lou Henry Hoover House. Th history does interest me. You always provide such interesting history with your adventure hikes. The Cafe Barone frozen Mochas look so yummy and so does your chicken raisin bread salad. Kim, I always get home sick when you share all your special hikes and restaurants. I worked in Menlo Park for about a year I think in 1972. What stays in my mind is Palo Alto Stanford Shopping Center, Los Gatos, Atherton in your area.
You will look so cute in your red ballet flats. The ones you ordered are very nice looking. I donated 4 pairs to Goodwill last year. I loved them, but my oh my feet could no longer wear them. They were so cool too. 😞 Hopefully they found a good home.
Take care and thanks for sharing your piece of Paradise.
Hi Katherine! Yes she’s a spoiled girl! Well I totally get that about needing to have comfy pants and the drawstring jeans are now showing up in a lot of soft fabrics, so if I see some I will share on the post!
I thought that was sort of interesting about Lou Hoover and her home! I think there is much more to read about her amazing life.
I didn’t know you worked in Menlo! Oh yes they have so many great spots Stanford’s Shopping Center too. That must have been a fun time. I’d the most wonderful community.
Well whomever got your flats was lucky.
Sending you hugs!
I dragged my daughter to Nordstrom some months back, determined to find some great jeans and ready to spend whatever it took. Despite all I’d read about them, Mother and Frame brands were epic fails for me. I walked out with an $88 pair of Wit and Wisdom straight leg black jeans. They feel great, always look good, and don’t appear to fade. Then a bit later I found a pair of dark wash high waisted, wide leg jeans at Old Navy that were on sale for $18 or $19. I’m long waisted and curvy on the bottom, so jeans are not often my friends. But these recent purchases have been great finds.
I appreciated (and agreed with) your thoughts from last week!
Sarah, Isn’t that frustrating? Especially when you hear people raving about a brand. I’m so glad you found something good. I’m going to look for that brand. Nice that Old Navy had some cute ones! Wow what a good price. If you are curvy, there are brands that have curvy specific fits ( you probably know), and I’ll try to mention which ones do on the jean post. Those really are a game changer for women!
Aw thanks Sarah so much. x
Wow: I grew up 5 minutes from the Dish hike, so it is fun to hear about your visit! I love Cafe Barone and Kepler’s, too. I did not know about the Hoover’s International-style home, nor anything about Lou Hoover, so thank you!
On the less-lofty topic of jeans: funny, but I purchased a pair of lighter wash straight jeans @ Los Gatos over the holidays. I finally got home to Palo Alto and we spent a fun, rainy afternoon shopping in Los Gatos. I am 5’1” with a bit of tummy, so midrise always squash me in the wrong place. Also, my waist is a bit large, so pull-on styles work great, while being slim enough through upper leg and bottom. I bought a second pair in dark wash from un-cool but practical-for- aging figures Chico’s with a flared leg that look modern now. These are crops for average height but full length for me. The advantage of this style is the crotch area is much more comfy bc the flare begins at the hip joint. Most jeans are not comfortable for my figure unless I am 10 # less (120!).
I’m going on an Italian sewing/fashion tour in late February-early March and am trying to plan a wardrobe to fit in my carry on that is more stylish than my everyday small town MW comfort ‘style’ 😉! Hence the jeans purchases, as they wear well over multiple days.
Really hope to visit the De Young for the Fashion special exhibit this Spring: thank you for bringing it to our attention!
Joan you grew up in a wonderful spot! I love PA. When I get to go to Cafe Barone and Kepler’s it’s a great day. I hope they are always there. I kind of went down the rabbit hole with Lou Hoover. I didn’t know a thing either. I love discovering interesting women in history.
Thanks for the jeans feedback! I forget about Chicos. You make me laugh.. There still seems to be a lot of ladies that like it! I have a pull on jean from Veronica Beard I bought a few years ago and they are so good. We need more options like that. Your trip sound so cool. I’m sure you’ll look great. Italians love their jeans! You’ll get a lot of fashion inspiration from that trip I bet. Have a wonderful time!
Sure I hope you get to the exhibit.
Thanks, Kim!
Hi Kim-I love love love denim! When I’m not at work, I’m wearing my jeans. I’m a 5’9″ plus size, so probably not your target audience, but my favorite brand for the last several (like 10-15) years has been Not Your Daughter’s Jeans or NYDJ. I’ve always been very curvy and all jeans and pants have always had a big gap on the back waistband, until I found this brand. No gap, and it is a wonderful thing! I do like a long and straight leg. The wide legs and the short/above the ankle leg, for me, is way too reminiscent of the bell bottoms and ‘floods’ I remember from junior high school, and I’d prefer to just leave them there. And besides, being a plus size 50-something, short and wide pants and jeans don’t do me any favors.
I love all the hikes in your area – thank you for sharing them. My hope is to do some of these with my husband once we are empty nesters.
I love your fireplace photo. We have a gas insert fireplace and we simply can’t afford to use it. Last winter I about fell over when the bill arrived after we had turned it on! I’d love to have a good old-fashioned fireplace again.
Enjoy the rain, as it won’t be long before our hot summer days return.
Hi Janet,
I so love jeans too! And yes you are the audience! I am trying to give feedback for all of us so this is great.
I have heard Not Your Daughter’s Jeans are good! I have been reading about denim sizing and a lot of us are curvy and the jeans made to fit curvier figures are the biggest change in recent years and so needed. That gaping waistband is not okay. Thank goodness for more options!
I hear you about the wider leg and they aren’t great sometimes. I defiantly understand why skinnier legs can look more flattering. Being short myself. I have the same issue and I just look sloppy and boxy in most of them. It’s a struggle.
That is a nice thing about the empty nesting! More time for what you want to do! There are a lot of upsides.
We also got our gas bill and we couldn’t believe it. We only have it on a short time in the morning and at night now. We used to run it a lot more, so I hear you.
Hope your staying warm and dry with the crazy weather!
I have moved away from jeans in recent times and have found Loft Wanderweave and Banana Republic Factory Airstretch great for everyday (unless it is very cold) as they are super light and great for travel as they fold small and weigh less with minimum creasing, A little dressier than exercise wear. Banana Republic Factory have great pricing often with 50% off plus an extra 20% online.
I really enjoy your posts as find you very insightful and informative.
Carole, Have to check both of those out! Thank you for sharing those.
I do think there have been so many good pant options that have surfaced the past few years that feel great on too. Travel pants are smart for everyday wear. Why shouldn’t we have pants that wear well and feel good too? Sometimes jeans just aren’t as comfy too.
Aw thanks so much about the blog. So appreciate that Carole!
Kim—
Love the gingham pillows with the Kantha throw! Pretty! And those red ballet flats make a casual vibe look more put-together!
Thank you for all the interesting tidbits!
Thanks Carol! You are so nice! I felt lucky to find the pillow and throw at the same time!
xo
