On this post, how to pack a carry-on for an overseas trip, a few good things on my radar for travel, Pamela Anderson in UK Bazaar, and more!
How has your week been? I’ve been getting ready to go on a trip. In the meantime, I had to replace my laptop, and have been scrambling to get comfy shoes and things for the trip.
I did get my hair chopped off to a ‘lob’ or long bob as my hairdresser Abby calls it. My once thick hair is getting thinner and thinner. I have been loving all the bobs I’ve been seeing lately- short and long. I think longer hair and the curls are feeling a bit dated, to me at least!

I spent some time at my dad’s. Dad gave me loads of organic green beans. I’ve had so many this week and delivered them to friends in little bags. Dad’s hydrangeas are beautiful right now. We’ve has the mildest summer (so far) and it’s been great for the plants, except tomatoes that need heat.
You’ll be glad to hear his cat Herbie is thriving -and is getting to be a bit of a chonker. He is quite spoiled and a pretty boy!

Packing for a Carry-On for Europe
I try to pack days before. That way I can ‘overthink’ over multiple days. ( Truth!)
When I was younger, my mom Suzanne would ask me a week before a trip if I was getting packed. It used to drive me nuts, but now I see it was her way to alleviate the stress of travel. She also like arriving neat as a pin. I try for that, but fall short. My dad is also picky about what he wears and packs, so I come by it naturally. I try and tell myself I can buy whatever I forget when there! That is unless you are going somewhere remote.
Packing for Europe, and places like Japan it is best to pack light and take a carry-on sized bag. It can be a stress getting all you need in a carry-on for ten days, but it is also a fun challenge!
Being my mother’s child, I iron all my clothes (or potential candidates), and fold in categories and layer with tissue…

Tips for packing a carry-on only:
- Be an outfit repeater. Mix and match and rewear looks. No one will notice and you’ll have more room for things you buy.
- Bring scarves, necklaces, etc to change up a look. They take very little suitcase room.
- Fold similar items (blouses, dresses) in small piles together. They support each other and prevent wrinkles.
- Fold pants over the pile of clothes with the waist at the bottom of your case, and leaving the length out, fold over the rest of the pile when done
- Use the zip side of the suitcase for packing cubes, rolled tanks and t-shirts, and shoes laid vertical along the edges.
- Bring a carry-on that can accomodate your purse (small x-body is nice), your toiletries, a rolled pair of leggings and a tank (for emergency changes), a light warm sweater or wrap, one extra pair of socks and underwear, and reading material, earphones, kindle, and snacks. I’ll also add a jacket if I can, and a pair of slides or flip flops.
- For your makeup and skincare, take just small sizes, and let things like lip color do double-duty as blush. I bring a small sunscreen and buy a new one at a pharmacy when arriving. I plan on doing minimal hair, so a leave-in haircreme is nice when you can’t blow dry, or have a nasty hotel dryer. Outside the U.S. people tend to wear less makeup, do less blow-drying, and overly done hair. I think of this as a great opportunity to go more natural.
- Wear your jacket and your heaviest shoes. You can fold your jacket and place in overhead. I change into socks and slides in the plane.
You’ll be so glad to have a smaller case when you are hopping off and on trains, and taxis in Europe. Americans can look like we brought the whole enchilada and more with us, so I try to bring less, talk quieter, and be extra polite – and use my few phrases I know.

My friend Ani and I were chatting the other day and she said you know travel is hard for people that are a bit of control freaks and that is me in many ways. On a trip you’ll have to let others do the driving (Uber), flying, and sometimes set the agenda, and the quicker you give into that, you’ll relax and enjoy your trip more. It can be a good thing!
My MZ Wallace carry-on has been the best investment. It has a ton of pockets inside, three front pockets, and two on the side for water bottles, plus a longer optional shoulder strap and a trolly sleeve. Best of all, it weighs nothing being an MZ Wallace bag. I have black, but this blue is nice and there are five other colors.

A few things I bought for the trip:

I am obsessed with this Channing shirt from Xirena. It’s the perfect light top for over skirts, or shorts and can go easily under a jacket too. I adore the turned up sleeves that are sewn up which give it a ladylike charm. These come in so many pretty colors and run slightly long. I bought an XS, but could have gone with a S too. I bought the pretty Skylight soft blue, but I want another color.
I bought these Sarto sandals at Nordstrom. They are super comfy. I went down one size to 7.5 so my foot fit well for walking and I like the neutral pinky brown.

I brought my Frank & Eileen linen joggers for the plane as they are so comfy.
I also want these low profile white Cole Haan sneakers that I spotted on two cute women this week. One lady told me they are all she wears to Europe. They can work with a dress too! I like this shoe is lightweight and low profile without a large heel. Easy to pack.
I am obsessed with the Tartlette mascara from Tarte. I bought this at the suggestion of a sales gal. It really makes my lashes look great, does not smudge or whither, and removal is like magic as it’s a tubing sort of mascara. You need to add second coat quickly after the first and it’s amazing.

Pam Anderson in UK Bazaar…
First, let me say that I adore the UK for it’s embrace of more natural and real looking women. You don’t realize how very rare it is to see women in the spotlight here, that are not perfected. The actors, the newscasters, and performers -are all filled and perfected to some degree. Then the tabloids cover people like Bezo’s new wife who is the opposite of natural and we are supposed to think that’s a beauty goal? NO thank you. I am over the artifice.
No wonder most of us who are aging feel badly about ourselves. It’s the double standard too. Men are rarely trying so hard, and are not expected to. I recommend watching UK television, not just for the great stories, but to see real women of a certain age. I think you will find they are appealing and real.
Just in time, this week’s UK Bazaar cover of Pamela Anderson by Pamela Hanson -as she is, was just what I wanted to see! I shared it on my Instagram story. The actual cover on the article shows her better than my Insta snap here.

This video and the accompanying UK Bazaar article of Pam Anderson are great. Pam is a breath of fresh air. She is still embracing the no makeup look and it is great to see a cover girl with a real face, spots, and wrinkles at 58. She looks happy in her skin and what could be more appealing? We should all take a few pages out of her book and do less, love ourselves more.
Less Kardashians, more Pamela please! Watch this clip…
Democrazy
That was a typo. Seems appropriate though, so I left it. I just cannot with politics this week. It doesn’t mean I’m not caring, but I needed a break this week with all I had going on. I had so much to do, I had to check out on it all. I could write about so many things. I am horrified by so much, and the bomb.
Thank you everyone who called and commented about last week’s federal land sell off. Supposedly it has been removed from the bill, BUT Mike Lee still hopes to add it back in with a few changes, so keep the calls and sharing about it if you can!
The good news of the young man Zohran Mamdani who was the primary winner for NYC mayor seems very hopeful. I love that he is not afraid to call himself a ‘democratic socialist’, a word coined by MLK. He says it means he cares about making his city better for all and for lifting up those who have the least, rather than the wealthy and powerful. It blows my mind that Cuomo was even running again with his record of abuse. Is that okay with us now? Men in power are above the law? If the president can, then why not others? Thank goodness he lost, but he came second which is a shock. Can we do better Americans?? What is wrong with us?
I’m off for a few weeks. Guys I am going to Wimbledon and I am so excited. It’s been a bucket list thing for me forever. I can’t wait to share all about it. Looks like it’s been very hot in Europe. I hope that changes! I hope there is a nation to come back to… Thanks to all the lovely people who recommended shoes and other good things. I so appreciate it and I checked them all out. You are all so good. Juliet and Elizabeth have summer travels too, so the Weekend Meander will be on a hiatus in July. I will be back in August (or sooner), with a recap of my trip, and some other fun things, and fighting for our rights!
I wish you all a happy July and all the good things of summer.
Get out there and have an ice cream on a hot summer evening, go for a swim, and if you can watch the stars one night!
Have a beautiful weekend,
Kim

Kim,
I know just how you feel. I needed time off this week, too. My head was exploding from all the insanity, lies, and stupidity. Enjoy your time at Wimbledon, and be sure to indulge in strawberries and cream.
Thank you for all of the wonderful packing tips. I’m going to try the idea of actually packing a week in advance rather than only thinking about it a week in advance.
Agree about all that you said regarding politics. It is exhausting fearfully wondering what harm the felon and his cronies have or may have done while I’m at work or sleeping.
Kim have a wonderful time! My husband and I are going to Paris and then the Turkish Coast and Greek Isles. We don’t leave for another 3 weeks–so the middle of July. It will be HOT! I’m scrambling for shoes, outfits and a jacket. Fingers crossed it will all pull together soon. I haven’t travelled in 8 years! I worry so much about our country as well but right now, I can’t take the politics. I don’t recognize this country anymore. Take care of yourself and soak in the adventure! XO
As always, a great post, Kim! I’ve done the same; have tried to avoid most news this week. It’s just too much. I did see headlines about the rulings from SCOTUS yesterday that completely help and support Trump’s agenda and just resigned myself to the fact that this whole nightmare might just have to play itself out before it all crashes and burns (bc no one is stopping him!?) and I just hope the rest of us aren’t taken down with it. I don’t see anything short of complete disaster changing the minds of MAGA supporters about Trump.
Also love your packing tips. My sister also packs with tissue paper to avoid wrinkles and I’ve done the same on long trips. My nieces and my other sister also swear by the MZ Wallace bags.
Can’t wait to read about and see pics from your trip! I agree about the natural look and it’s more prevalent in Europe. Love your “lob”. My long hair is also getting “thin”.
Kim, you had some great packing tips in your post! You are right, no one will notice if you wear repeat outfits and you can mix and match. Years ago I made a master list of things I take every trip like makeup, toiletries, hair products etc. and cross them off as I pack. I keep it and edit it for each trip. Yet I still forgot my mascara one time as we were getting ready for a wedding. I had to send my husband to CVS. The other thing is I try not to pack things I would really be bummed about if my luggage got lost or I make sure to pack a few of my favorites pieces in the carry on.
I agree with your comment regarding all the crap going on in Washington. I too took a break this week, like my husband said “we already know Trump is a jerk so do we really need to keep reminding ourselves?” Different day, same BS right?
I don’t think I could be as bold as Pamela, I am fair and have blonde eyelashes and eyebrows. My sister used to call me albino growing up! Speaking of having work done, she had a facelift about 15 years ago and she didn’t look the same afterwards. It took a long time to soften. I can see my daughter getting too obsessed with her looks. She is beautiful the way she is and I got upset when she had some filler put in her lips last year. It looks so unnatural and she already has great lips. She was even talking about getting Botox at some point and she is only 37. 🙄 I worked for a dermatologist in my early 20’s and back then is when the first collagen Zyderm came on the market. Now the options are mind boggling. I think one can definitely get addicted to it.
Enjoy your vacation! You may not want to come back lol.
Linda
The world is a mess but traveling away will reset your mind in a way that staying in America cannot. So cheers to you.
I enjoyed your packing tips and stylish bag review. I need a new mascara choice and will take you up on the starts suggestion. The older I get the more satisfied I am with simplifying my look both in clothing and face and hair. The new trend of look alike Barbies (reluctant to type that but they all look the same so they not?) is just plain weird which brings me to Pamela Anderson. I think she looks beautiful. Who knew she was so pretty under the mask of celebrity beauty? She must feel wonderfully free. Cheers to you for featuring her here. Now. Go have fun!
How fun you are going to Wimbledon! Can’t wait to follow along with you on IG! Enjoy your break!
Thanks so much Cindy!! xo
Thank you for sharing the Pam Anderson article and video. She’s an inspiration. Have a wonderful trip to Wimbledon. I look forward to reading about it.
p.s. I am with you on Democrazy. Seems like nothing is stopping them. Very despressing.
I know Linda. Sending you hugs.
Great post! Good time to be planning a getaway for sure…I will travel along vicariously whenever you post while away.
Please keep us posted about your new haircut. Quick question about the leave in cream you use. I have very fine hair and struggle with hair products. Any info greatly appreciated.
Bonnes vacances!
Thanks so much Sue!
This leave in hair creme is for fine hair like mine:

Hi Kim, I know how much you love tennis, so that is wonderful that you are going to Wimbledon! Enjoy your strawberries and cream!
I have to second NC Sue’s request for more info about the leave-in hair cream. I also have a travel tip for you – see if you can find a duffel-style thin nylon bag that foldsand zips up small. I got mine in Japan, and when we travel back home I use it as my carry on and put a couple of packing cubes filled with clothes in it. Then the space left in the main luggage can be used for souvenirs etc., and that goes in the hold.
So far I’ve never been brave enough to use just a carry on case for travel abroad; when we used trains in Italy last year my husband hefted our medium sized cases into the train and I had the carry ons. Anyway, I’m looking forward to reading all about your trip when you get back (I love your travel posts!), bon voyage!
By the way, when I say ‘carry on’ I mean a carry on case – I still take a personal item!
Hi Patricia!
Oh love your tip about the duffel bag! I need to do that next trip. We bought a lot and needed it.
I use two different leave-in hair cremes- one from Phyto, a French brand, called Phyto 7, and another from Oribe – not at the same time, but I alternate them! Easy to travel with too.
Will link to both.
Phyto Hair creme here: https://go.shopmy.us/p-21693738
Oribe Supershine Hair https://go.shopmy.us/p-21693928
I hope that helps! xo
Hi Kim: Have a wonderful time in Europe. Here are a couple of restaurant recommendations in Paris – Chez Andre – 12 Marbeuf, 75008 Paris, lovely bistro, takes reservations; Relias de l’entrecote de Paris – 15 Rue Marbeuf – only serves fabulous steak frites, doesn’t take reservations, arrive early since there is usually a long line. We waited about 40 minutes but it was fun to talk to other in line. Enjoy.
Marguerite you are awesome. Thank you so much! Saved all these. xo
While I am not a traveler, I do love your posts on prep, tricks, and recommendations.
Thanks for the post on Pamela Anderson. When first seeing her, I thought it was Mia Farrow from years ago! LOL. And yes, Laura Sanchez does appear to have jumped into the “Mar A Lago Face” pool…did you know that is actually a thing? That $MAGA cult all look the same and it’s not pretty! Poor Kristie Noem…she’s got a sorry face future when her age creeps up on it.
Anytahoo – have a great time on your trip and looking forward to hearing how the “civilized” world is doing. Bon Voyage!
Hi Holly! I agree cannot stand the fake faces on everyone in the Trump sphere. Maybe this will be a way to turn off people on so much plastic surgery and injections finally?
Thank you so much. x
Hello
Does anyone think Pamela Anderson looks like a young Mia Farrow on the cover of Bazzar UK?
Regarding curly hair, some of us have curls and keep them natural wether in style or not.
Yes she does! Love the natural curls! I meant the ringlets that have been called Utah curls, more like goldilocks. x
Hi Kim,
Wow, so exciting and so happy for YOU going to Wimbledon. I know how much you LOVE LOVE LOVE tennis. I’m sure that will be a BIG joy marker memory of your trip.
Good for being and going natural for Pamela Anderson, she is beautiful this way. Blurry years is right. No one has had an easy journey. By the way looking at her is so refreshing after getting so much on the Bezos/Sanchez wedding. The whole thing is over the top. A little bit “of the perfects” goes a long ways. It’s not the real world that we live in, Hollywood is a world all to its self.
I like your new long bob. Change is good for us all.
Herbie is healthy looking and looks well cared for and loved. We used to have a cat named Boxie and her fur was like Herbie’s, a huge maintenance challenge. How does your dad groom Herbie? Out last two were Birman’s, Romeo and Juliet and their fur was like silk. Love your dad’s Hydrangeas and the organic beans look good. It helps when you know what you’re doing.
Have a memorable holiday. Yes, I get you are going crazy with the endless stuff to do.
Sending hugs to send you off to your traveling journey.
Hi Katherine!
I loved it. Was so amazing. It went too fast.
I LOVED seeing Pam after so many fake faces being put forward right now, like at the Bezos wedding, etc. We need more examples like her.
Aw your kitties sound cute. So far Herb gets lots of brushes all the time!
Sending you hugs too. x
It’s all too much every day, isn’t it? Your upcoming trip sounds great & I hope you’ll enjoy every minute.
Thanks so much Michelle. x
Happy travels Kim, how cool that you’re going to Wimbledon!! Enjoy your well-deserved break.
Pamela Anderson au naturel brings to mind (to me) a young Mia Farrell. She’s beautiful!
It was crazy how many Dems, who were bailing on Cuomo just a few years ago, were so anxious about the DS label they were ready to put him back in a position of power. It’s about time we acknowledge that with vast income disparities we have to expect people to embrace radical change.
Sarah thank you so much. Love Pam Anderson’s new style too.
I CANNOT believe anyone in the DEM party voted for Cuomo. Why would we EVER re-elect someone who is a sexual predator?? Have we lost our minds? There are so many other humans than these same creeps. Ready for radical change myself. xo
Oops excuse me, Mia Farrow!!
She does!!
Thanks for great post as usual, Kim! I am thinking about those Frank & Eileen joggers. Do you think they are true to size? I’m having a hard time with what size to buy.
So happy for your trip overseas! Cannot wait to hear all about it. (Also glad you are taking time for self-care. We have 3.5 years to go and as Jane Fonda said it is a relay race – take time to refresh, girlfriend!)
Hi Jenny! I bought 6, maybe should have bought 4. They stretch out a little after wear. I am 5’4 and 135 pounds.
How will we get through the next 3.5 years?? Yes self care! xo
That purse is my go to for traveling. I can put everything in it that I need at my seat and then my other suitcase goes above in the overhead been! Hope you have a fabulous time
Enjoy Wimbledon, I haven’t been for years, but used to go after work when I was younger, saw so many brilliant games in the outer courts! Several of my friends children have worked as ball girls and boys!
Europe is very hot, except here in Brittany. 40 degrees predicted in some parts of Spain, Italy and S. France! Make sure you keep hydrated, London and Paris can be very uncomfortable in the the heat, ensure you stay in the shade as much as possible.
Have a super holiday.
Thank you Jude!
How fun you used to do this after work. What fun to live near this tournament and be able for kids to be part of it.
Europe was super hot. We got lucky with London for the 5 days we were there! You were right, Paris was unbearable. I had to buy an umbrella just to walk around and there was little no no AC outside of our hotel.
Brittany seems to be there place to be. Hope you are enjoying summer! x
I watched the whole video of Pamela Anderson and was pleasantly surprised. She really impressed me and changed my whole opinion of what I used to think of her as the Beach Babe bimbo. I also see that the dropdown at the top of your page is only one bar now so thanks for making the change because it does seem to make it easier to read the contents.
Have a wonderful time away-I find that when I travel, the tv never comes on and I don’t bother with the news much at all. It can be a great relief to put it on pause and the world will go on whether or not we’re paying attention.
Wren I adore her! I too did not know the real Pamela.
I haven’t changed anything on the blog, but please let me know if it is an issue!
I did not miss the news while gone. Wish it all could pause! x
So many things to comment on in today’s post. For thinning hair, I highly recommend low dose oral minoxidil (prescription needed) which I started taking 2.5 yrs ago and it’s been amazing. Secondly, Mamjani’s ‘liberal socialism’. I’m from Canada and my husband is from the UK, both socialist countries and I truly believe most Americans conflate socialism with communism. Not the same! In this current chaos, it occurs to me that when our government works, it should hum in the background, not scream in our faces daily and I’m exhausted. Enjoy your respite and Wimbledon.
Hi Barb! My friend also uses that and has seen great results. Thank you.
Many Americans are clueless about what socialism and communism are. They think something that benefits all of us, and builds a better nation is bad.
We have a lot of people who have been poorly educated on civics and history, but who take all Fox News and conservatives tell them as truth. The happiest people in the world live in socialist democracies.
You are so spot on, when government is working for us, we shouldn’t be hearing about it, or lamenting it daily!! I miss the times when we had a force working for diplomacy and health across the world. What we are left with is a shell of a once admired nation because the rich and powerful wanted to take it down, for more grift, and Trump gave them free rein.
Thanks about Wimbledon!! x
I get it. I too had to check out after a few days of staring at news updates after Iran news. I was so gladdened to here of Zohran winning. That brought me some hope. I am a very sensitive soul in this world. I try to understand other points of view, but my heart and soul wants none of it. I just wish people could strive for more peace. I like your hair. I recently chopped mine too. I always feel better with shorter hair, but fantasize that I can be a long haired goddess. You look great. Enjoy your travels.
Nicole me too. I was so happy to hear about his win, and I hope establishment Dems see we need more young and progressive leaders with fresh idea. The party as is, is not working.
Take care Nicole, this is a hard time for everyone, but especially those who are caring and empaths, which sounds like you. I too wish with all my heart that people would put peace as a priority.
Ha! That is me too. Admire long hair, but know mine is better shorter… xo
Have a beautiful vacation Kim enjoy every moment!!
Thank you so much Francesca! xo
Herbie is completely darling. He looks so soft and sweet.
Linda he is such a love! I am so happy he and my dad are doing well. x
Hi Kim,
I am so happy for you. Your trip sounds like a dream
Packing is a pain, but I have no doubts that you will look super cool and chic whatever you wear!
Have the best time, I can’t wait to see pics.
Xo Heidi
Heidi, Thank you so much. Hope you are having a good summer! xo
Hi Kim,
Wishing you safe travels and a wonderful trip to the UK. Can’t wait to see more pics of your new bob. Thanks for the clip on Pam Anderson. She looks so fresh. My 51 y.o. son told me that he was sad to see so many of his friends from HS using so much Botox and plastic to change their once beautiful faces all in the fear of “aging”. So happy to hear that Herbie is a sweet companion to your dad. He is looking like cuddler. Safe travels and see you in August. xo
Hi Karen! I agree Pam looks fresh. Thanks about my bob!
I think the use of botox is actually making some look strange. I really don’t get the filler too. It’s rarely making one look young, so many look off in some way? Loved being in the UK and Paris, as so many people look natural and put their effort into dressing nicely- and their hair! Thanks xo
Kim! Love all your packing trips! Have so much fun at Wimbledon!
Xx
Thank you so much Annie! xo
Hi Kim,
Thanks as always for the great content you post! Your upcoming travel sounds exciting and just the break and reset you need. I’ll be looking forward to the tidbits and photos when you return from your trip ~ enjoy! I can’t keep up with all that’s happening in our world either, like many of your readers, and have checked out from most news. Crazy and maddening!
I love your shorter hair and I think you will enjoy it too. I wear mine in that length and I find it’s more suited for my age (60’s), feels a little more styled than wearing it straight and long. I also embrace the minimalist look for makeup, only a few products lightly applied and I’m out the door. Especially eye makeup, as I have dry eyes and have had some troubling eye infections, so less (or nothing) is definitely more….and I don’t care! I’m no longer worried what anyone thinks – I’m me and I’m happy in my skin. Do what brings you peace, which we all need in todays world. Safe travels! 💗
Hi Cheryl! It has been nice to get a break. We all need a checkout for our mental health with the relentless bad news.
I have been liking the shorter hair! Yay for minimalist makeup. I saw in Europe women wear no makeup or very minimal. It was refreshing. I hear you my eyes are always sensitive now too..UGH!
Yes absolutely, the best part of getting older is being happy with ourselves! xo
Love your hair, Kim. I want to get mine cut shorter this week. It’s so hot. I’ve just been using tinted moisturer/sunscreen and lipstick…but I want to try your mascara!
Thanks Mary Ann! The mascara is good for summer and the heat! xo
Have a great trip and you must have a Pimm’s at Wimbledon along with the strawberries and cream!! Safe travels!
Thanks so much Julia!! xo
Hi Kim! Great packing tips! You are so organized! I need to be a better packer! Yes to loving ourselves more. Something else I need to work on, ha. If it is a clear night, I always try to step outside before I head up to take in all the stars. As you can imagine, they are amazing here, milky way, and all! Have the most fabulous time at Wimbledon!!! See you in August!
Hi Molly! Thanks I still struggle, even with the tips!
I know doesn’t the Pam Anderson interview help with self acceptance?
I bet you have the most amazing stars – and a beautiful summer.
xo
Ahh! Loved your post! I need to get away for few days too! Packing is a pain. I made myself a long list and whittled it down . I agree, comfy shoes are #1! Especially Paris! I took lug sole boots too last trip in September. A blazer, a white shirt, and comfy shoes .
I learned quickly that no one wears leggings there. At least out in public. I had problems finding a good restaurant. There was a sidewalk cafe across the street from the Arc De Triomphe, Le Cristal. Great soup and out of this work cappuccino!
Loved sweet Herbie!💙
Can’t wait to hear about your trip!
Thank you Marcia! That sounds like a great mix for Paris in September. Yes agree, did not see ONE person in leggings in Paris or London! People like dressing in real clothes I think… and fashion. I know the restaurant thing can be tricky. There are all these recommended places, which can be hard to get into, and crowded, and then so many in the neighborhoods. I tried to go by if people were at them. If they were empty, I sometimes walked on. UGH! Hard to know. Our food was hit and miss too. I’m not a huge foodie though. Le Cristal is going on my list! xo
So excited for you and this trip … and Wimbledon! And I’m very impressed with your carry on bag and packing tips. To think I’ve been stressing about packing a carry-on for Mexico … I’m ashamed. Love your tips and will try to follow them. You’re right about repeat wears. Not sure why I think I need a different outfit for every night … I’ll snap out of it. I’m really loving Pamela Anderson in her new era. After watching The Last Showgirl I couldn’t understand why she didn’t receive any acting aware nominations. She was so good but all the attention went to Demi Moore. Anyway, bravo to Pamela. Wishing you an amazing trip, a gentle reentry and a lovely July. xo
Thanks so much Juliet! Yes the repeat wears was a no duh and I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that before!
Too bad Pamela did not receive any awards. She is just coming into her talent I think. Aw hope your trip is wonderful and your July too. xo
I love your take on Pamela – yes to a more natural beauty as we age! And thank you for your thoughtful perspective on your country’s politics. It is reassuring for those of us outside the US to know that sensible voices are making themselves heard.
Laura, Isn’t it so good? We need more examples like her!
I know we all haven’t gone mad, but I am afraid that is all that people hear outside of the states as it’s the most extreme and gets more views I am sure.
More against this madness than for it, that is for sure. xo
